When writing feels tough-fall back to basics

Writers are sensitive by nature. We are naturally sensitive to sounds, visuals, and feelings. Our sensitivity makes us observers of the world around us, but it also makes us aware of our inner feelings, our voices, and our intuitions.
This inner sensitivity could be a curse to our ability to create sometimes.
For example, we can get eaten by our inner critic. The inner critical nature is what makes us stab our own craft. We champion in emphasizing mistakes that are invisible to normal pairs of eyes. Sometimes, our critical nature can cripple us enough to keep us from writing, our passion.
Blank pages are both loved and feared by writers.
love because we can’t wait to stitch our experience into a beautiful embroidery of words. Fear because even after being proficient in writing, knowing all the rules, and having read every work of great literature, we can sit down and feel like strangers to the craft.
